Community Rules
Last updated: 14 October 2026
BroadRoads is better when every match is fair and nobody dreads the chat. These rules apply in games, chat, voice, names, clubs and anything else you do in the Service.
Treat people well
- No harassment, threats, bullying or targeting of anyone, in or out of a match.
- No hate speech or slurs about anyone's race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar.
- No sexual content, and nothing that endangers children.
- No sharing other people's personal information.
- No spam, scams, advertising or links to malicious sites.
Play fair
- No cheats, scripts, macros that play for you, bots, modified clients or packet tampering.
- No exploiting bugs on purpose. Report them through the contact form instead.
- No boosting, win trading or playing on someone else's account, and no multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage in ranked.
- No intentionally losing, feeding, going AFK or leaving games. If you have to go, the AI takes over, but leaving ranked games has penalties.
- No buying, selling or trading accounts or items for real money.
Names
Player and club names must not be offensive, impersonate other people or staff, or advertise anything.
Reporting
Use the report button on the in-game scoreboard instead of arguing. Reports go to a person who can watch the replay at the reported moment. Honor the players who made your game better.
What happens if you break the rules
Depending on how serious it is and whether it has happened before: a warning, a chat mute (hours to days), a ranked lockout, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban. Honor drops with each penalty. Cheating and serious abuse can lead straight to a ban. If you think we got it wrong, tell us through the contact form and we'll take another look.
